I got this email today.
Subject: OPRAH'S YOU TUBE !This is really scary? What part is supposed to be scary? That someone might believe something different than you?
Wow! This is really scary!!! I have gotten a few emails alluding to this, but had never actually seen or heard anything myself until this YouTube video. I really think it is very important that this message be sent to as many as possible and we need to PRAY!
Oprah is being attacked because she came out in support of a Democrat. That's what the GOP does to people who are not 100% in lock-step with them.
She has built schools for poor communities in Africa, she gives tons of her money to charities, she helps charities raise even more, and she has a new TV Show, Oprah's Big Give, whose main purpose is give away large sums of money to people and communities in need.
But none of that matters. Her actions are meaningless. All that matters is the label. She isn't "Christian" enough.
She believes that there could multiple paths to salvation. So we should all be scared.
Incidentally, I don't know Oprah and have no clue if she is really a nice person. I suspect she is but I suppose it is possible that she is a complete asshole who has hired one helluva PR agency. I doubt it though.
